or if i get remarried and there fore have ANOTHER last name?  then can i still use my passport with my other married name?

YPrrrr

I'm pretty sure you can use it until your passport expires. How would they know if you changed your name or not?

I had not thought of that.  I guess as long as I look like my pic?

Buttttttt, what if they ask for ID?  I always thought they would.  I can't remember if they did or not when I got to this fucking country.  My ID has my maiden name on it.

Why the hell did you leave the US in the first place?

Does America not satisfy you? If you dislike it so much, you're not welcome. bassir;

Her husband was stationed in Japan. She divorced him though.

Her (ex-)husband is in the air force and was stationed at a military base in Okinawa, so she moved there to live with him, as jmv said.

Just because a person leaves the country doesn't mean that it's due to their dissatisfaction with it. How presumptuous can you be? This would be the case even if she had moved to Japan on a whim and not to be with her husband.

Okay, so you're not a fervent patriot who's annoyed by the very notion of anyone willingly leaving the U.S. to live elsewhere?

My mind is boggled. I don't know what to believe anymore.
