Of course I'm still Afghan. My roots go back to Afghanistan, and I have no problem with that. But that doesn't make me any less American, especially considering I was born here and I grew up here—and I'll live here for the rest of my life.

Foreigners like your parents have brainwashed their children into thinking they're not American as they have the idiotic notion that Americans are dirty infidels. I'm sorry, but anyone born and raised here is an American. Being American is no exclusive cult, and that's one of the foundations for this great country. This country was made by immigrants, and our founding fathers weren't native here either.
