Torrenting

Torrents have always been interesting in my eyes, so here's a topic to talk about them. Right now I'm currently using uTorrent, and I get the majority of my torrent files from Demonoid (thanks JMV). I only download music and movies/TV shows, since my computer can't handle most games.

ATM I'm downloading the entire series of Futurama, as well as the entire series of FLCL. The latter shouldn't take too long, since it's only 6 episodes, but I'm downloading them in .dpg format so I can watch them on my DS, and I'm averaging about 500 b/s, which is horrible...

My ratio on everything else has been shit recently with my inferior upload speed.  I went from a 4.0 on demonoid to 1.0

My ratio in transmission went from 2.5 to 1.04



Right now these are a bit hard to seed, but they are slowly seeding.

I use NewsBin instead of uTorrent.

I usually seed to 1.5 and then stop. I couldn't seed a semi-large file at all, so my demoniod ratio is stuck at .9

I never seed unless it's for a torrenting community like demonoid.

I have 180 active transfers in Transmission, when I'm at my mom's most of them are off but when I'm at my dad's they're on because super internet (seeding)
