OK GO - I can't go ;-;

Okay, I've been planning to go to an OK GO concert since, literally, October. They're playing in New Haven (for those who don't know, 10 minutes from my house) on Tuesday night. I don't need to order tickets in advance because it's at Toad's Place, the greatest place in the world. Tickets are like $15 and they never sell out and seating/standing is on first-come first-serve usually. They don't get a lot of bands that I like (and often when it's someone I'd like to see it's 21+ since Toad's is a bar as well), but I happen to love ok go and when I saw them on the schedule way back in 2008 I was sooo excited.

I just found out I have play practice until 10:00 on Tuesday. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO, AND NOW I'M MISSING MY CONCERT TO DO THIS. I'm super duper angry. ;-;

I can't. I'm the stage manager. Taht would be so ridiculously irresponsible even if I were to pretend I were sick  or something. This close to the show (first dress rehearsal is on Thursday), we come in even if we're on our deathbeds.

Contrary what some people like Det seem to believe, I am honestly mroe important than any member of the cast. So, not happening. It would have been fine if the practice was 3-7 like it originally was, but they changed it last week and it didn't click until today that that was my concert night.

I think I'm going to connecticon, Anime Next, and Otakon this year. Gonna hold off on Anime Boston because Hotels in Boston are so fucking expensive.
