Queens has cheaper. So does Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island.

Just remember Snorkel, buying something like that isn't a good investment unless it's in a good neighborhood and you can fix it up. I bet it will be quite hard to sell.

Either way not too shabby for a first house. I'd try it.
