atleast we have more than 1000 people here.

a skate park, a splash pad, a good soccer program, a decent arena, schools that aren't poor, and some other good things.
but i'd say the best part is the lack of police that are around.
plus there is quite a bit to do here when you are with a bunch of people.

(01/30/09) BRENTWOOD - Parents and community members packed the Brentwood High School auditorium Thursday night, where they learned that a convicted sex offender with AIDS may have been in contact with children in the area.
At the community meeting, Superintendent Donna Jones announced the district was informed last week that nearly 20 students had direct sexual contact with Robert Musmacker, 36, of Oceanside.

Musmacker, a level 3 sex predator with AIDS, was stopped in December for speeding. According to police, he had a 16-year-old boy from Brentwood with him in the car.

Jones now fears the disease could be spreading. "Students who may have been exposed to it may have sexual intercourse with other students, thereby creating a major situation," she says.

Police, school officials and members of the medical community also attended the meeting to spread the word about the situation and try to prevent anyone else from being affected.

Despite the meeting, some parents say they need to know more.

"They didn't say anything as far as what actions they were going to take to protect our kids in the future," says parent Leonard Tucker.
