um lol

The Genesis's raw CPU power crapped all over the Super Nintendo's cheesy 3D effects.

mode 7 was wannabe 3d and it looked awful. the only decent game with any mode 7 slop was axelay, and genesis games like gley lancer and lightening force crapped all over it

And blast processing was the Genesis's supposed "hyper speed" stuff that a Super Nintendo couldn't possibly handle without terrible slowdown because its CPU sucked.

sonic 3 &knuckles > anything the snes offered

mode 7 was the ability to rotate and resize sprites it had pretty much nothing to do with 3d

its primary purpose was for ugly "3d" stuff like this:

it looked awful and you know it

it looked pretty sexy in the day wariodood;
lightening force's hundreds of bullets and NO SLOWDOWN looked better

and it was a lot more fun

super metroid is a lot of fun, yes, but it's honestly pretty damn ugly

axelay is without a doubt the most beautiful game on the whole system, but IT'S TOO DAMN SHORT AND EASY

i'm guessing you've never played persona 4, ikaruga, sonic 3, super mario world, metroid fusion, or lightening force

Because those are all better than both of those games.
