significant coincidences: rationality vs. mysticism

we can all think of sometime we've experienced an incredible coincidence. I experience them daily (although I am insane)


1.
do you tend to ascribe these purely to mathematical chance, e.g. the logic that if you take all the properties of two seemingly different and unrelated things, there's bound to be at least one similarity that will pop up spontaneously in the course of time and seem significant because of the naïveté of the brain,

2.
or do you think huge coincidences have mystical or at least deeper implications than we care to admit? are they bubblings-up of quantum information? errors in the fabric of space and time? strange synchronicities that result from the tying of infinite extra-dimensional properties?

I think they are very important.

I try not to over-analyze things and just leave incredible things as "wow that was amazing" instead of breaking down how it happened in a scientific or mystical sense

I have an imagination, so I naturally tend to think of explanations that I know don't make sense. However, if I am going to take action in regards to an event then I will think through it rationally... So I do both.

yeah except science is based on evidence and deduction, not "oh hey wouldn't it be cool if..." and the universe has no connection whatsoever with individual human conciousness god damn every paranormal claim that invoked the word "quantum" has been thoroughly disproven
