Yesterday, some girls came up to my lunch table and were like "OH YOU'RE SCREWED SOMETHING'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU" like a bunch of damn gypsies. Naturally, I was expecting today to suck.

Starts out decent with a lab in physics, nothing too hard and not the quiz we were expecting.

Economics? Substitute, and we did nothing at all.

Have an optional trip to the auditorium to "hear about scholarship opportunities." Advisory is boring as dicks and I take the opportunity.  Find an old female friend from last year. This girl, formerly a "christian", but for all the wrong reasons (only "believed" it because her parents and bible says she should), recently denounced all organized religion thanks to me. I used to be a regular JMV and trolled all religions, but I'm much more relaxed today and I'm fine with anyone believing anything until it intrudes upon my right to happily exist. However, knowing I left such a large impression upon someone made me feel great.

Gets better when nothing happens at lunch and I'm safe and all.

Gets great in English. Some nigress comes in late with some fresh rice krispies. I don't eat lunch, so I'm feeling a little bit hungry. "Can I have some?"

"Oh, sure." She gives me half, I'm all good.

Gets better: nothing to do in english, we're taking some half-assed senior english pictures all period. Same nigress: "Hey, I have this CD. Ever hear of it?" I say no but I'd be willing to listen. "Here you go." Scored myself a free, sealed CD featuring stuff by some guy from radiohead or something. :|

Final period: "Yo Mr. Gilliam, I'm thirsty; can I have something to drink?" Hands me an ice cold soda, and I'm feeling good. I sit in a nice rolling, spinny chair because I do independent CJ3 work in a class of CJ1 students. Some kid's selling chocolate for a dollar behind me, and I have no cash. Some fine looking puerto rican chick that was in my french class last year comes over and buys some chocolate, and I jokingly say, "My you're such a lovely, intelligent lady. Could you spare me a dollar for some chocolate?"

"Sure, I only have a dollar left--lemme go get it."

i got the chocolate, ate half, shared some with my friends

I got to say it was a good day.

So yeah, talk about days that completely changed your week for the better and just made you feel like an awesome person. Any great event you didn't expect.

Today was great. Nothing even happened out of the ordinary, but by third period, I could barely conceal a smile. A smile for no reason. By the end of third period though, I no longer felt like this. Kinda just "meh". And it has continued to be meh, but at least nothing bad has happened.
