it keeps saying my account isnt permitted to download games with an m rating even though all games are allowed on my circle

I got it when it was released in Japan via torrent, but redownloaded it with no trouble.

Well I've never had to do it myself, but I've heard of other people on the xbox forums saying they can't download game content rated M when they have a child account. It's really just my best guess.

How about:
Create a silver XBL account via http://xbox.com with an age of 47 or something and then log onto that from your xbox. That what I do, since I have the same problem. The only thing that doesn't work is when you want to download a demo or something that you can only download with a gold account.

This doesn't work because i've looked everywhere and cannot find the promote child account thing anywhere.
