I think Veal's still a mod but it's not his visible membergroup so I'm not sure.

honestly i think if a successor to outsider was created, we'd have to get a base staff of some of the good old people from outsider: slim, karel, caps, smxx, etc.

if we could get our old memberbase active again, i really see no problem with us being a closed community with no new members. we existed fine like that for a long time. it was only when nsider closed and we felt like we needed to drum up more activity that people started getting fed up with it. yeah, we were declining in activity, but i don't think we ever really would have died that way. we could just keep making good posts and coming up with projects and such as long as we wanted. look at LUE.

i think the only chance we have at being a good, active forum again is if there's a new nsider. like, a real one. until then i think we should just settle into the dignified position of a small, quality-over-quantity community.

Well, he can't be taking chances here. For all he knew I was going to turn into an enabler like Caps and start unbanning everyone.
