I'm taking a British film class this semester. Here is a list of films we'll be using:

Four Weddings and a Funeral
The Commitments
Trainspotting
The Crying Game
The Full Monty
Sense and Sensibility
Brassed Off
Ladybird, Ladybird
Bend It Like Beckham
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
The Lawless Heart
Secrets and Lies

The only one I've already seen is Trainspotting, and it's great. Seen any movies on this list? What am I in for?

YPrrrr

Well "Bend it like Beckham" is about an Indian girl living in Britain who plays soccer and her struggles and triumphs... I thought it was pretty mediocre.

Trainspotting is awesome, very Scottish movie.

You see the dude's penis.

I saw Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

I really didn't see anything great about it besides maybe Jason Statham. It seemed to go nowhere the first hour. And it was just plain generic.
