My mom was going to name me slate, but my dad thought it was a fag name so he wanted to name me daniel.

It was actually because of my last name that they wanted me to be called that.  O_0

My parents were hoping for a male first, as my mom thought of the name Joseph Dean months before she had me.  First name was probably after a great-grandfather, middle name after my own father.  She also hoped for that in the event I had a younger sister, which I did, so I can protect her.  doodhuh;
