here's what i don't get: videos of animals and adult humans getting maimed terribly or killed is seemingly legal on the internet, but child pornography is supposedly more harmful than either of these. not that i'm supporting child pornography but there are far worse things currently legal and usually the only thing that happens to little girls having sex on camera is that they grow up to be sluts, which america is already full of

And changing the age of consent law to be universally 16 or so is better than imprisoning heaps of 18 year olds in high school for having sex with their girlfriend in one grade lower. If you don't have any reasoning capabilities by the age of 16, you definitely won't have any by 18.
