Which album did you get?

right now im getting personal journeys and the one he did with joe beats as non prophets

Daddy

Also, if you like Sage Francis, then Pigeon John, Alias, and Prolyphic & Reanimator are also good.

[mp3]http://boyah.net/JMV290/songs/06%20Survive%20Another%20Winter%20(Feat.%20B%20Dolan%20Alias%20Sage%20Francis).mp3[/mp3]
That track is off Prolyphic & Reanimator's album, and both Alias and Sage Francis are featured on it.
There is a typo in that track, which should be "Survived another Winter" though.

-Prolyphic
-B. Nolan (I actually need to get around to getting his stuff)
-Alias
-Sage Francis
^Order of the verses.

If you like MF Doom, then Madvillain (which is MF Doom), and the MF Doom + Mos Def mashup album if you don't have it... Mos Def, in general, also; Aesop Rock, Gnarls Barkley / Cee-Lo (hit or miss there probably); Blue Scholars perhaps.

Quote from: meand yeah ive already listened to both dangerdoom and madvillain

Quote from: me againsame with aesop rock

i didnt know about mos def vs mf doom

i don't care for mos def though outside of black on both sides and black star

other than that he's been phoning it in musically for years

QuoteIf you like Flaming Lips's experimental side then try Godspeed You Black Emperor or any one of the variety of bands like that, if you like their alternative rock side then chances are you'd like Radiohead which I'd recommend anyway; also other alternative rock which is easy to find.

already listened to godspeed

Quote
Broken Social Scene... tons of bands: Feist, The Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Pinback, Wolf Parade, ANDREW BIRD (one of my favorites), TV on the Radio, The Appleseed Cast...

listened to all before >:|

QuoteOther things I'd recommend for generally awesome alternative rock listening are Murder By Death (whiskey rock), Minus The Bear (Menos El Oso is extraordinary), Tapes 'n Tapes, and The Mars Volta (which are obviously not strictly "alternative").

haven't listened to murder by death, minus the bear, or tapes 'n' tapes

going to now

of Murder by Death, their second album (Who Will Survive...) is the best. It's an amazing dark western epic about a duel with the devil.

Uh...

I'm sure you've listened to the Decemberists.
My Morning Jacket is pretty cool, get Z if you have the chance
One Day as a Lion is awesome.
The Pixies (though I'm sure you've listened to them)
David Byrne's solo stuff is pretty cool, if you haven't given it a chance I suggest you should.
Ummmmm...Sigur Ros is good, I saw a live thing on them at MoMa on Current TV.
The Cardigans are good, though the only album I know they've released is First Band On The Moon.
the yeah yeah yeahs are great too. I've got Is Is by them and it's good.
