As some of you know, today, December 8 2008, is kaz and I's 3rd anniversary.

The last three years hold a good deal of the greatest moments in my life, all thanks to my amazing partner.
I can't even begin to imagine what my life would look like right now if we had never met... And I am so grateful to have his unconditional love and respect. He makes me happy even when there's nothing to be happy about, and I could have never made it through the following without his love and support.
He is truely a unique indvidual that I've learn so much from, and that I'm truely attatched to.
And babe, thank you for being so patient with me.<3 I'm ready for the rest of our lives when you are...

But we didnt get here without a few bumps in the road....and im pretty sure a few of those bumps were actually a couple of mountains as well.
We fought through 2 and a half years of litterally sneaking around to talk to eachother
I've had to face my parents about four or five times in all, after being caught buying and having various secret cellphones, or phone card, or being caught online with him.
I even got in trouble at school for using a proxy for getting to an old forum that we used to pm eatchother.
in all four instances, I went through some physical, and emotional abuse. The fights broke by family apart for nearly 6 months.

At one point last summer, I left home. I had my fill of the rejection of Kaz by my parents... And it only took four days for them to realize that maybe, just maybe their daughter really loves someone out there. Maybe he isn't a dirty old man after all.

And now, everything is fine. We have a pretty normal relationship, and he even visited during the end of summer (which was the best ten days of my life, tyvm)
and now, I count down the days until the 31st, when he will come be with me again<3

So now its your turn,
disscuss things you made great sacrifices for (but don't regret)

 I spent a ton of money to meet someone. I will never regret doing that and given the chance I would do it again.  cjlubdoods;

I'd like to say I made great sacrifices to get into the college of my choice, but I don't think I really worked my ass off like I could have...

So instead I'll say some of the things I had to do while my dad was in Iraq to keep our family close and not make other people worry about us

Yeah, for like 2 years when I was in 8th and 9th grade. Luckily he made it back without any physical damage, but the experience has really fucked with my family emotionally. My dad's personality kind of changed since he went over

That I don't regret?  That leaves my ex out.  I hope I can find someone nice one day.  Congrats you two :3

I hope it didn't completely change him.  I heard that they can call back soldiers into duty.  Please tell me he doesn't have to go back!

I'm in virtually the same situation that Hens is.

Also, congratulations to you guys for staying strong for so long.  My best wishes to the both of you.

Those are the most important ones... the obstacles you run into on your way to the top knock you back down the mountain.  But you learn from it and persevere to get to the ultimate goal/the top.  I have gone through it so many times...

Nah, he's fulfilled his service duties, so he can retire from the army at any time now. He's still in it so that he can teach at the army's law school, but if they were considering calling him up he can just say no.

It's nice to have certainty at least.

Selkie

That's really nice  :3 I'm happy for you two

Hmm, I really can't think of any great sacrifices I have made and do not regret. Or even any sacrifices period for that matter. I am always having small sacrifices to help others, like maybe I will work for someone sometime, but I can't think of any that really stick out.
