I want to get more into them than just a few random songs.

What album is their best/should I start with?

[REDACTED]

I do not have HIV/AIDS.

I'm gonna give you my three favorite albums from all three of their "phases", if that makes sense.

Psychedelic old stuff: "Voyage 34: The Complete Trip"
90's stuff: "Stupid Dream"
Recent, more metal/prog inspired stuff: "Fear of a Blank Planet"

Selkie

Alright, I decided I'll buy Stupid Dream off Half.com.

But the lowest price is 11$ and my parents need to use their credit card so they only let me get stuff thats like 2$ or less, so I think I will ask for it as a christmas gift.

Also I like getting a CD for christmas because I listen to it on Christmas and the songs kind of ingrain in my brain as songs I heard on Christmas and whenever I listen to the songs I think of the Christmas when I got the CD.

I'm weird like that.

russell

I've always liked Deadwing, but on occasion I enjoy Fear of a Blank Planet (their latest, I think)...

Samus Aran

you're our hero steal

i still only have Deadwing, unfortunately, but i love it so <3

I first heard about them when a friend invited me to their concert and that's when I started listening to them. doodhuh;

The artist formally known

I'd say fuck it and get the live cd Arriving Somewhere.

All great songs and the live versions seem to create more emotion.
