Why does everyone complain about Triforce shard hunting in WW? You have fucking maps telling you exactly where they are.

OH GOD IT'S SO HARD TO FIND SOMETHING WHEN I ALREADY KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS

Not to mention that it's really only the shards itself that you have to "take a break" from the main game to find, considering you can find most of the charts quite a bit earlier. There's only one I can think of that you absolutely need to have the hookshot (most recent weapon at that point) for.
The only problem I had with the shard hunting is just how anticlimactic it was.

I've beaten every single 3D Zelda multiple times. thumbup;

However, I never beat some of the 2D ones, including the original. I never found the 7th dungeon for some reason and I've just never really bothered trying to finish it.

As for Zelda II, I don't own it and have only played it at a friend's place, so I haven't beaten that.

Minish Cap...well, I almost finished it. I think I got stuck somewhere near the end and just stopped playing because I really thought it was the worst 2D Zelda I'd played in a long time.

Also I've never played that Gamecube Four Swords game or Phantom Hourglass.

The only one that I've beaten is Link to the Past, which I loved to death. It seems that whenever I try a 3D Zelda game I get stuck and just give up, and when I come back to the game weeks later I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.

It annoyed me how the coolest miniboss in MM was too hard on the game because of the countless fucking keese that slowed down the game.

I don't remember his name...but he was a miniboss in MM that used a scythe and he was made up of keese or at least he had them all around him.

Oh man I hate that boss, kinda. I'll forgive it though because Stone Tower Temple is so awesome. I don't notice any slowdown with this boss, but I do notice it when I first turn on the game and walk around in Clock Tower a bit.  I have the Collectors Edition MM though, so I don't know how the N64 one acts.

Maybe I imagined it. befuddlement;
are you talking about that guy who came out of the ground and you could only hit him then, then he'd go back into the ground and do stuff, then come back up in a different area of the room befuddlement

No, I think you're talking about the final boss of Stone Tower.

I'm talking about this guy:

Oh, I remember him, and I remember hating him because it took me about five tries to finally kill him. n_u
i thought he was pretty cool though baddood;
Also, no, I wasn't talking about Twinmold, but another Miniboss in some other dungeon. There was a room with a few square tiles on the ground and he would appear out of one at random, and that's when you were supposed to hit him. befuddlement

That was Wizzrobe. He was a miniboss several times...there were both ice and fire versions of him, the first version that appeared being the ice one in Snowpeak.

The Speaker Of Words

Shit man, I don't remember any of this. I need to play MM again.

Oh yeah. n_u

I also didn't like TP's "super srs >:l" feel, I think they tried too hard for it to be "mature". smithicide;

There were quite a few things I disliked about TP. I didn't really mind the attempt at a more serious mood and story, though.

But I did mind the ridiculously blinding yellow-brown lighting during the daytime, especially late during the day. It doesn't look real...just weird. I also thought the music was mostly a huge letdown, although I can admit that the main Hyrule Field theme is quite good. The Arbiter's Grounds was also such a boring and uninspired temple, if you ask me. It didn't really become decent until the spinner was introduced, and that was basically at the end of it.

I dunno, overall, there's not much that's really "bad" about TP. On the contrary, I find it quite a good game. I just think that some other Zeldas succeeded better in some aspects, especially Wind Waker.
