Saddest movies...I dunno, Pan's Labyrinth was pretty sad and gloomy all-around, especially the ending of course. So was Magnolia.

Pan's Labyrinth's ending was sad? I thought it was relieving and uplifting

Anyway, I thought the Dark Knight was pretty freaking sad. I mean, yeah, the part with the boats was happy, but how Harvey, the genuinely good guy fell to some maniac with no apparent purpose. As well as how they are trying to chase Batman away when he basically saved a shitload of people throughout the entire movie.

Also, Munich was freakin depressing.

And Seven of course.

I thought it was pretty sad that she was killed, yeah. The so-called magical world she goes to seems so wrong and gloomy anyway.

True. Overall though it was a very gloomy movie no matter which way you look at it. :(
