But there was a kid I used to hang out before I moved away.
He wants to hang out but I don't really want to talk to him anymore but I don't want to tell him. How do I make him go away?

If you moved away, I'm guessing you guys aren't exactly living close to each other anymore, it shouldn't be too hard to avoid him. Or you could just grow a pair and say "Hey, fuck you" unless you don't mind having to deal with him all the time.
