Saw Juno, Twilight, and 27 Dresses tonight with Lauren. Not first time seeing them, but whatever.

Crash (1996) - I don't know what to say, it was quite a odd movie. Pretty sexy too, I was satisfied with it. All the movies I've seen of David Cronenberg always make me forget about the plot and just enjoy the visuals. This movie was quite more of the same, but lots more sex. Lots of cool visuals, enjoyed the camera angles in the first crash. How the camera shows his grip on his belt buckle and such.

Youth without Youth - Not finished. Half way through, fuck it's getting weird.

Boogus Epirus Aurelius

I watched a scanner darkly for the first time.

The art direction is nice. I'm not sure if I saw the novel as animated, but.........
Bah...

Oh, and I watched Naked Lunch for the second time yesterday.

I have yet to read Naked Lunch, is the movie good? David Cronenberg's movies are a little iffy for me.

Oh, I really want to see Naked Lunch! I read the book and want to see how they put it on film

Read the book. Reading Burroughs is like drowning under a perpetually bad high. Of course, that's what he's trying to perpetuate I think......

Film wise, it's a surprisingly faithful interpretation of the text, and that's saying something considering the source material is so cracked. Hell, when you can watch typewriters change into giant talking insects without cringing, I think the director did a decent job.

Yep.

Sam

the DBZ movie: Made me laugh a LOT. Probably wasn't the director's original intention.
1.8mb is too huge for a sig nigga
