you need time to have a life first
once you have kids they become your entire life until they're like eighteen and then it's probably too late ;-;

but you don't want kids when your friends are grandparents so i said early thirties  baddood;
it probably also might depend on when my friends are having kids so our kids could HAVE PLAYDATES

26 is a little too early and 35 might be too late, 28-31 might be the best time

Mid twenties seems ideal to me, ideally you would be finished with college and you may have been able to settle down in a nice job that will allow you to raise your child comfortably and save for their future, and of course pay off your student loans.
