-went to the community center to see some local bands and play pool, one band was good/decent, the next as pretty good as far as local bands go, I was impressed, then I went outside and played frisbee for like 2 hours but I was informed that the other bands weren't very good.
-referee for hockey games, have 2 more tomorrow
-went to dinner with friends
-played gears 2 for a few hours

I'm seeing a bunch of death metal bands next weekend including Decrepit Birth and The Faceless, and I've got tickets for Buckethead the week after that.

Aw, I wanted to see Buckethead! Unfortunately I was unable to go because he played yesterday. At least I got to see Joe Satriani a few days ago.

On friday I hung out with a few buddies and hit up thrift stores and the usual stuff. But something interesting did happen. We went to borders, and of course, we only go into borders for one reason, and that is to jack things, because borders doesn't deserve our money and because none of us had any anyways. So typically we have to remove the magnetic things from CDs that make the alarms go off, right? well, this time, we couldn't exactly do it with this album my friend wanted to get for his girlfriend, so we just dropped it in the bag of kettle chips we had and hoped that when the alarm went off when we walked out, they would just check our backpacks and clear us. But something beautiful happened. we walked out, and the alarm DID NOT GO OFF. THE SACRED CHIP BAG PROTECTED US FROM THE ALARM SOMEHOW. so anyways we tried to get the big plastic security thing off the package with my little pocket knife to no success, but as soon as I let out a GODDAMMIT, we caught some hobo's attention, who helped us get our illegally acquired CD open with a massive buck knife.

so yeah, then we met up with a few chicks and sat around and did nothing for a while until I had to take the bus home. Then when I got off the bus and jaywalked across the highway, SOME STUPID MOTHERFUCKER HIT ME. 

Luckily I wasn't really harmed in any way, I just sort of fell down and had a bruise on my leg, but it really shocked me. If he had hit me differently, I could have died.

Anyways so that was my friday and i'm grounded for the rest of the weekend because i didn't stack enough wood last week.
