I'm not a big Windows fan, but this next release looks to be shaping up into something quite nice.

Looks just like Vista.

WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO TO PAINT?

At least it has a redo button...

Yeah, it does look like Vista and KDE. With a shitter taskbar. Hopefully they do something with that taskbar, and make it so it doesn't use gobs of ram and processing power to run it.

It has a lot of vista elements, but not "just like"
and there's a lot of cool little features and stuff being added

I like that new Paint

it looks good to me, and I hear that they've been trying to make this one not require a shitload of stuff like vista did

I hope there's a classic view.  It looks like I'm going to have to go back and forth to zoom and recolor.  :(

The task bar looks horrendous, they should have just kept it Windows Vista SE.  Really, I don't think Vista is too awful, they just really need to learn how to do some things better.

I would love to have a Mac though. ;_;

No, they're making it more open for customization and stuff, you'll be able to install 3rd party themes and other themes from the microsoft website.

I really don't see what's wrong with it though. The only part I don't like is both the date and time being displayed, but I'm sure that can be changed.

what's so different psyduck;

Basically, it's Windows Vista+Some new features+GUI tweaks[AREO GLASS EVERYWHERE OMG AWESOME, UGLY TASKBAR]+new name=People hopefully not being brainwashed by Apple and they're retarded commercials.  The new ones where the Mac guy accuses Microsoft of wasting too much money on advertising makes is hilarious, though, but not for the reason why they intended.
