I've spent the last month or so purchasing parts for my Halloween costume. It was going to be perfect, I had everything I needed and I would've looked pretty awesome too. I've spent at least $120 on everything and I was so psyched to wear it to school.

The past few weeks have been pretty shitty in that school, though; fights almost every single day, over eight in one day, security guards being beat up, etc. It's pretty unusual behavior, and it's also pretty stupid.

I had suspected that this retardation would have an effect on future fun events, such as Halloween, but we were allowed to dress up last year, so I didn't really think about it much.

Anyway, today, in school, one fucking day before Halloween, they made an announcement: ABSOLUTELY NO COSTUMES TOMORROW.

I hate this shitty town.

Anyway, the clothes I wear normally are probably considered kind of costuming a good amount of the time anyway, so I don't know that I'm the best person to give you advice, but;

I would wear it anyway. If the principal, or anyone, says anything, act offended. Just act like they're your normal clothes. Or petition. I'm sure I'd do one of the two.

My parents would probably tell me I was acting like a child, but really.. it's halloween, what is wearing costumes harming anyone? I mean, my school has a weapon and face mask policy because both can interfere with normal school activities, but harmless costumes shouldn't be banned like that.
