The ones that move really fast?

Also what the hell, I beat the game several times on medium, so I was going to do an insane mode playthrough to finish the last achievement, but when I was at the new game screen, it only went to hard. Do I have to beat the hard mode first to play insane? :(

So now that most of the big hitters are out, how does dead space compare to Fallout, Gears, and whatever else is out?

Is it a top game worth getting, or should I pass on it, and hope that I play it someday.

Dead Space isn't worth buying for $60 because it's only 8-12 hours long and has little replay but it is awesome and probably one of my favorite games ever for the next gen consoles.
