My flesh shall become my notebook
My pain and scars will manifest into its sonnets
The visible memories will be my soliloquy
Your words: the inspiration for the tales I will inscribe.
Their harshness guiding the blade through bitterness
Their kindness guiding it through soft hints of love
And when I hit the last page I'll realize what my masterpiece really is;
it will only be a grievance. An insignificant gesture to you: something easily prevented.
I know this but I fear I'll still go through with writing in that notebook.
