You guys ever play Clubhouse Games?  There's a little "beep, beep" that's like an alarm clock beeping that gets me alert every time I hear it.  Same with an alarm clock on the tv :(

The sound that TiVo makes when you can't fast forward anymore.
Like you started a show 15 minutes late, so had that much recorded. Once you try to fast forward you hear BUM BUM BUM

The sound of a pencil that has no led on the tip scratching against a piece of paper. Jesus christ, it just feels and sounds so fucking weird to rub the sharpened wood of a pencil against a piece of paper. I hate it.

I'm with you there. But what I think is worse is when the metal around a regular pencil's eraser scrapes against the paper.
