Beta

We were walking to the supermarket from our car when the local news anchor stops us. She has a camera lackey right next to her filming. She asks my dad what he thinks of the wall street crisis. He stares blankly into the camera and shrugs. He said he doesn't follow the news. She asks him who he'd want for president. He says that he doesn't even know who the candidates are.

My dad left...

I had gotten my hopes us because everyone'd see my dad on the news. He didn't even know who was running for president. He's dead to me now...

Hiro

So your dad didn't answer a few questions to a news reporter, and you now hate him and consider him dead? I'm not seeing the logic here. befuddlement
