it's too bad you don't live in Arizona though because getting a great scholarship there is super easy I am pretty sure I have one you jsut have to exceed all 3 AIMs and keep a good GPA :/

They don't know what AIMs is, but i'm sure they can guess. I wanna go to U of A but i hate tucson. i should go to college in sweden.

I'd go to college in Germany or Austria but it would cost a lot... and I am pretty set on the Pacific Northwest

But we've taken aims through elementary school and middle school... I can learn Swedish, and they speak english there, too.

yes but now it is the high school exit exam... before it didn't really make a difference and now it does.

okay have fun paying for that and learning enough Swedish in two years to take college courses there. Would you really like to be that guy having everybody speak english because he can't understand the native tongue? Nobody does. And I can't imagine they teach that many courses in english :/ but maybe I'm wrong.

Go to the school that you believe is best going to be able to help you achieve whatever you are striving for, not based on the name of the school.

Picking a college to attend based on its popularity is absurd.

I haven't been offered any big time scholarships. Just a couple guaranteed small time scholarships from Church and Ruitans (500-1000$ per year). However, I am looking heavily into Campbell University down in North Carolina and they offer a lot of merit based scholoarships which I know I'll get a fair share of do to grades, class rank, and the like.

I am only going to get in state scholarships (and probably only the ASU one) my grades aren't very good but I have some AP/Accl classes so that's something and some nice extra-curriculars and other things like that "well rounded" and all. I can just pay though

That's really not what I'm doing; but it's really not too absurd if you think about it. I mean, I'm going to be spending the next 4 years of my life there. I should try to put myself in a place that will make me happies.

And to geno and skylark; I might be going to school at UAT for Digital Art and Design or Digital Animation; but I worry about finding a carreer in that field. It's basically all I'm good at though, and I do have awards to back up my experience. I dunno. I'll probably go to college and then spend the rest of my life doing something else anyway. I don't want to be rich, just want to live.

but yeah, we're all hooking up and partying if we're all stuck in arizona.
