It's actually snowed (in my lifetime) in Phoenix so you're wrong, Its' been under 30F here before.

Lucky. I wouldn't hate winter nearly as much if we didn't have to worry about -20 degree weather. The worst we've had in my lifetime was -35, but that only happened once. The worst part is that it was also very windy...estimated -60 wind chill. It was terrible.
