I failed the physics regents last year. I need 3 regents of science to graduate.

I only have 2 right now. I am taking the physics regents over again in january, but how the FUCK am I supposed to pass it now, without even taking the class, when I didn't pass it last year while actually in the class?

So I figured I'd be safe and just take chemistry this year so I would guarantee at least 1 science regents, but the guidance office feels it isn't important enough and won't let me change because the schedules are already set.

I'm fucking screwed basically, because the guidance department is lazy.

Are you a senior? If you are how can that not be important?

Nevermind, I actually read it wrong. I need 3 courses of science, which I have. Cause I am taking 2 science classes this year and also I think the physics counts as a class because I passed the class, just not the regents.

I only need 2 actual regents sciences.

how'd you end up taking physics before chemistry

I don't know what regents are, I just need credits for 3 years of science and I already got those

New York is weird with their smart people and stuff. Kids that are in honors level can take either chemistry or earth science freshman year, and then any of the remaining in whatever order after that.
