how the hell would i go about solving this problem. we're doing shit like this in physics and i have no idea what the hell i'm doing.  befuddlement

just tell me how to find any of the sides because i'm too lazy to get my worksheet and look at the actual problem so this is just how i think it went and if you guys teach me i can work it on my own and actually learn how to do it instead of just copying

ps. last year they had me in an eighth grade math class and it was still considered "advanced" for my state just so you know how far i'm behind

I taught myself radians and stuff so I think I can at least handle that

752 + X2 = 1502

X is the base's length.

Is that a 150 though? or 15 degrees?

If it's degress then that's trig you have on your hand.

degrees

Because if that was 150 I've have to be retarded not to know it.

notice how the o is high up and little

That's degrees, not 150
Degrees is

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180 degrees

Thats not possible in this diagram because you're fucking stupid. Right angles are always 90 degrees.

I know, but that other guy solved it with 150.

And the 15 should be bottom right.

so the far angle is 15 degrees because there's like some invisible line forming a rectangle and that 15 degrees is in the upper left

meaning that top left angle is 75 degrees

i'm still confused because i need to know the length goddamnit

yeah, but there's no 15

15 degrees can go in either place since the 15 is external

The artist formally known

Sin15 = x/75

x is the base.

Calc has to be in degrees
