One that is compatible with OS X and isn't terribly expensive.

That's pretty good considering it's only $30 more than your standard HP all-in-one and seems to be better.

But why have I never heard of this "Brother International" before?

It's loaded. The only problem you might have is that it's pretty big.

The one I was using already is 15 x 12 x 8.5

So yeah this one is a lot wider but otherwise it's about the same.

I have the $50 HP that comes with macs for free

it's fucking awful at photos (like real photo printing; just printing pictures in a word document would be fine), as you'd expect, but the page-per-minute and text quality are decent and not unacceptable.

it's also a scanner (not too bad) and a copier

the only bad part is the software, which you have to use to import/inititate scans. for some reason it won't work in the Import > From Scanner menu in CS3.

The lowest-end HP that Apple is offering with Macbooks for free (after rebate of course) is $100, so it seems either you got the price wrong or they've upgraded since then.

i actually hate printers too because they're kinda ugly and take up a lot of space and seem to malfunction more than any other device i've ever owned

but they're necessary so ;-;

my shitty all-in-one hp is completely retarded
it's an all-in-one, yet a few days after installing it could no longer scan or fax
never buying another hp prouct again

Looks like Brother is the best option. Never had a problem with mine. And I've used HP's, they always screwed up.

Sam

I have the Kodak Easyshare 5100...

I have no idea what it costs or if it's compatible with anything other than XP... but I like it lots.

Also, if you're going to be looking at price, look at the different kinds of ink they take. That's the real money-eater.

This one's got good prices, generally speaking. Came with 4 color cartridges and 2 black.
1.8mb is too huge for a sig nigga

I have the same shitty exierience with HPs. We have an extremely old printer that doesn't even have a brand that exists anymore as far as I know from 96 and it works fine. No color, but whatever, all I print are pages of text for school.
