WHAT CPU-INTENSIVE TASKS ARE YOU CURRENTLY PERFORMING?

I'm not exactly sure how to check on XP, because I have a feeling the Task Manager is bullshit.

According to that, my most CPU-intensive application is "System Idle Process," which fluctuates between 87-98 on the little "CPU" column in Processes.

Given how little of use it would be to someone like me, I'm not going to take the time to go about learning the use of all the components of XP.

But I did find something about the System Idle Process, and am pretty sure I should look somewhere besides the Task Manager.

not really, because i've yet to see any obvious performance hindrance or other problems caused by this
