I go there sometimes because someone in my family keeps giving me Hot Topic gift cards for Christmas. They actually have a bunch of really good t-shirts, although pretty much everything else is they sell looks horrendous. Plus, I heard them play Primus a few times. I wouldn't spend my own money there, but I have no qualms about spending other people's money at Hot Topic.

 should also mention that I don't really shop there as of a few years ago because I started seeing a lot of people  buying crap from there. They only really have like one handful of decent clothes, so odds are if I buy the prettiest outfit in there, there will be a couple of people at school with the same one.

Come to think of it, I haven't bought any clothing from hot topic since...  2003/2004, probably.

But i enjoy their other odd trinkets and such.

I dunno, I've been in at least 5 different Hot Topics and they've never ahd a fog machine running. They're also all extremely well-lit, despite the dark appearance.

I can't stand being anywhere where I need to strain my eyes to see shit. I wouldn't go in any of my hot topics if they had fog machines going, honestly. Those things annoy me.
