my dock is hiding, it keeps doing this and lawlz showed me how awhile back but i completely forgot

it had something to do with using terminal? does anyone know how?

Hold control and click the divider between the trash side and applications side. Then turn off hiding.

when your dock locks up, enter killall Dock into the terminal

if you want it to disappear or reappear, do what jimmy said

Orrrr you can open the Activity Monitor and quit/restart it from there.

No dirty, stinky terminal needed.

Keeping your Terminal in your dock and entering that simple command is faster and easier than going to Activity Monitor and searching around for your dock.
