Selkie

Guys, I came to a realization today. I spend hours online either here or at Nshit2, just refreshing over and over, and re-reading threads with no new replies, getting an occasional isolated thread where I actually find entertainment. I realize now it is simply an addiction and not something I truly enjoy.

I think the era of Internet Forums will end tonight. After over four long years, starting with Nsider that fateful April 8th of 2004, I have spent many waking hours on the internet, and it has become a big pedestal of my memories for that time period of my life. If I continue to drag it on like this, it will just lose any value that it may have now. I am done.

I guess I will leave you guys. I hope I at least provided some insight or interest to you guys over the years. I certainly won't forget my time here.

I will leave you guys with a philosophy of mine; regardless of what changes in your life, for the better or for the worst, some things will never change. One of those things are the stars at night. Go outside and bask in their beauty. My condolences to those who live in big cities.

It's quite an experience, especially when accompanied with some marijuana.

It sure is, it kind of makes everything else seem pointless in the grand scheme of things. We are so consumed with insignificant personal matters that we have no time to put ourselves in perspective and view life from a different vantage point, one which encompasses more then just humans.

Just last night I laid in my friend's hammock and observed the heavens and sort of thought aloud with my buddy, musing about how small we really are in perspective of the universe. It's quite an experience, especially when accompanied with some marijuana.
Nice subtle plug at the end :|

Usually I am sad when people leave but I know your experience though yours is much worse then mine. Hopefully you'll find something better to do. Try social life, it's quite nice.

Yeah I left NSF and NS2 one month ago, I want to leave here too. Actually I left any Nsider related forum except for Boyah.

I'll miss Selkie acting like he's having an orgasm whenever he finds a new band he likes. :(

Blaze-Senpai

I'd do the same but I know too much about computers to give up my hobby.

I'd say see you in two weeks, but I don't think that's the case here.
