Why am I so anti-social? Anybody have the same feeling about this as me?

I'm really confused and I just don't know why I isolate myself from people a lot...

Whenever I'm talking with someone, and we'll just stop and it's silent and we're just looking at random shit for a moment, I say some excuse that I have to go or some shit because I don't know what else to do with them. It's hard for me to say "Thank You", "Hey", or some other greetings, and after I say it, I feel so...odd about it. Whenever I talk bad about someone when I'm by that person, I don't really make it as a bad thing, but saying bad things makes it so easier to me to say for some reason. For an expamle; Me and a person are playing a game and he loses. I say "You suck.", people would always feel a bit bad about what I said, right? But really, it's just a different way of saying "You'll do better next time." and whenever I say bad things about a person, most of the time I'm joking/being sarcastic.

When I was younger, I always felt that being with people, meant that you were weak and had to depend on people. So most of the time, I went alone and I tried to make friends, but most of them were too different from me. So, as a loner most of the time, I get so depressed, I have the same thought that repels me from socializing, but at the same time I'm fighting with another thought that wants to make friends. But, whenever I hear that word "bond", I just feel sick to my stomache and I just want to walk away from whoever said that.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is that I really hate it when people say that they love one another or are friends or some shit like that. I don't like being "soft" with people.

Even talking about this shit is really...akward. I have to know what the fuck I have to do to get out of this abyss. So, what should I do when I'm probably the only one who's so anti-social?

So don't be soft with people, and find some people that will appreciate a dryer sense of humor. You'll find them eventually... it's harder though because the people you like are most likely anti-social too. I don't know, take some risks and don't care what others will think of you if they don't respond positively

 Lack of self confidence and fear of getting close to people.

I was kinda like that at first. Without going into too much detail... , start trusting one person to help you. Let them help you overcome your problems. But be careful who you pick. Make sure they are trust worthy. It helps if they are a lot like you too.

No, he thinks I'm more of a Psychologist than anybody else that has tried to help him. But, I don't see how he makes so many friends and is still depressed...

  I have lots of friends and am clinically depressed. Ask all my older friends. Nate will tell you how I get.

Once you learn to cope with it you know how to help yourself out of it.
