Well I'm thinking about maybe cutting my bangs a little above my eyebrows, but I'm not sure.

It really depends on the person. Sometimes their forehead is just huge and bangs are necessary to hide it, and sometimes it just gets in the way of their beautiful eyes.

I think everyone looks better with some sort of bangs, but what kind of bangs depends on your face. Straight bangs are hard to keep up with, so you know. You have to trim them firly often because they grow fast and then poke you in the eyes and shit.  Now I kinda have side-swept straight bangs. So they cover my entire forehead but go to the side. I like them, you should give it a try if you want. :o

and... if you're going to a hairdresser, make sure it's one you've been to before and like. >.>; sooo many places to mess up on. And if you're really on good terms with your hair-dresser, try asking for her opinion. Usually helps.
