I finally installed Linux on my computer

Instead of Ubuntu, I installed openSUSE. I'm still getting adjusted and moving files from Vista to SUSE. It's so different

Bassir recommended that I get Ubuntu, but then after putting it off for awhile, I saw an article on openSUSE on Engadget. It said that it had some better qualities than Ubuntu.

Got myself a new hard drive, and I didn't feel like taking the time to install Sabayon.

If you run Ubuntu, it's easier to get support in case you have any problems--of which is definitely going to happen considering you're new to Linux.

Take advantage of the power on that thing and use Ubuntu.

Cool. I've tried Ubuntu and RedHat before, for various reasons. They're nice, and definitely better than Windows, but there's really just no reason for me to use it when I've got a Mac.

Between Ubuntu and ReHat, which did you like better?
