Cool. I used to like driving, but my mom ruined it for me because when I started on the road, she kept yelling, "Go faster!" and "Turn here! No, here! You missed the turn!" Now it's not as fun...

When I had my permit is was usually 'Jesus, you're going over the speed limit again!', 'Oh look, turn there!', 'Are you even paying attention to the people around you?' and other things.

I couldn't even argue with my father, If I did I was automatically wrong since he had more experience then me. And he also likes to bark orders, and potential errors were as bad as if I had actually crashed. According to him "you can drive perfect 99% of the time but it all means nothing if you crash that one time and injure yourself or someone else".

In retrospect it made me a better driver so I can't complain.

How so? I just drive slow, but I've only driven once. I'm really good with breaks though.

Old men drive dangerously slow.  If you drive too slow, you start pissing people off, which is more dangerous than driving fast.  People will try to pass you, you will have a line of angry drivers behind you, it's just not safe.
