another fucking hailstorm, and tomorrow san diego

I had picked up my glasses at Ridgedale Mall (note: fans of Juno will remember that this stupid suburban Minneapolis mall was referenced), and was walking back to my car, which was probably about an eight to quarter mile away because the parking lot is huge and always full. I heard there was going to be another massive storm on the radio, so I tried to go early, but I didn't go early enough, because en route to my car IT STARTED HAILING GOLF BALLS AGAIN. I was like "what the fuck, weather" since this was the second time in a week I was caught in apocalyptic hail, and also because being pelted by hail isn't fun. Fortunately the majority of it passed very quickly, but then torrential rain began and I arrived at my car drenched. "All is not lost", I thought, "for now I can see!" I noted that my field of vision appeared like an amazing super-high-definition movie. Sharpening the edges of everything seemed to enhance saturation, too. It was glorious.

Additionally, tomorrow I'm headed to San Diego. Boyah business.
