It's not like it'd be worth it for you, you don't even have a PS3 or played the first MGS's.

Coutdown. I'm suprised you haven't edited that.

ANYWAY I'm just waiting for it to come out for the 360. The PS3 has shit exclusives except for about 3. Not worth buying just for MGS4.

Not going to happen with the shitty DVD-DL discs that the 360 uses for its games, lol 8.5GB compared to the Dual Layered Blu Ray disc that its on, which holds 50GB.

Better exclusives than shitbawks

Oh lord, I am holding onto my sides laughing. Allow me to analyze this ridiculously fanboyish comment.

QuoteI'm just waiting for it to come out for the 360

As explained in the previous post. it would take many discs for MGS4 to ever be completely played in DVD-DL format. Not to mention that the MGS series has pretty much been a Playstation exclusive since the series had been revamped for the playstation 1.

QuoteThe PS3 has shit exclusives except for about 3

Lol, the PS3 has more exclusives than 3, my friend. Shall I begin naming? It definitely has more exclusives then the 360. The only one I can think of being Gears of War. And even that was re-released on the PC as a superior version not only in controls but in content, EG. that epic brumak battle that 360 owners have never witnessed for them selves and never will at least in GoW1.

QuoteNot worth buying just for MGS4.

Maybe not JUST for MGS4, but there are multiple games that are coming out this year that will be just as great as MGS4 (LittleBigPlanet, anyone? Resistance 2?) and those are worth getting a PS3 for. Not to mention the PSN is greatly expanding and Home will be released whenever which will rival any service Live has to offer.

http://www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/mgs4/MGS4Midnight.pdf?affid=3346&wt.mc_id=mgs4
-The mic is out and it's shit. Don't waste $60 on it.
-Around 3 minute load between each act.

Some info from a poster on NeoGaf who managed to get the game early in a PAL region and another from a poster who got the guide:
*ABSOLUTELY NO SPOILERS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW*

"Oh man, finished Act 2. Amazing.
But man, for those who hates cutscenes, are in for a huge dissapointment. There are loooaaaddssss, but absolutely top quality, seriously. The production value is insane, voice acting is miles better, snake sounds a whole lot better this time I think. Well fucking done KojiPro, you are my gods."

"Um, everything I saw in MGO is present. Don't know about anything else. Also, weapon customisation and drebins shop is brilliant, especially if you run out of ammo. Really useful, but maybe too easy?
I just want to reiterate, the graphics in this game are unreal, modelling, lighting and so forth are fantastic. This needs to be played on HD, SD won't do it justice.
Framerate: I am not a framerate whore, so i'm not as anal about it as some people, but so far, it has been perfectly fine for me. It isn't consistent all the time, but considering what's going on during the game, it's perfectly reasonable. It stutters rarely when theres a shit load going on."

"So far, I am absolutely loving it. The game feels very different to the past MGS games. If it wasn't for Subsistence, the game would feel like a completely different series. But there are many things that make this game a very MGS game.
For one, the way cutscenes are presented, when you see shinkawa art intercutting with the in game cutscenes. I almost thought he didn't do that much art work for the game, but you see lots of art. I just pray for an artbook from him.
I think, i'm half way through act 3. That particular act is verrrry different, almost an entirely different game. You will see why when you play it though.
I think, judging by how much I have played through, if all the cutscenes and so forth were skipped, the game would take about 12-15 hours to complete perhaps? Although, I haven't seen the other acts so I cannot really say.

There are some things im dying to say, but I must show restraint"

"Basically, you can use a (limited) form of CQC with a two-handed weapon. You can disarm an opponent by tapping R1 again after hitting it initially to start CQC. You can't grab/restrain a target with a two-handed weapon, but you can hit them/stun them, which knocks them back and lets you, basically shoot them in the face, or follow up with a hit from your stun knife. Imagine slamming a dood in the face with the butt of your shotgun, them blowing him down the street.

With a one-handed weapon, you have access to the full complement of CQC moves. Like in MGS3, you can do an instant KO throw by tapping the left stick and hitting R1. If you hold R1 you put them in a CQC hold. From there you can choke them out upright, in classic MGS fashion by tapping R1, throw them on the ground in front of you where you can hold them up, put them to sleep or execute them. You can also disarm them before you put them in a hold by tapping R1 again just as you're grabbing them. So the sequence of button presses to completely own your opponent is basically R1, followed by R1 quickly again as CQC is initiated to disarm, then R1 held to keep them in an (unarmed) hold.

You can sink to the ground and silently smother them as seen in gameplay vids by tapping the crouch button (x) while they're in a CQC hold. Throat-slitting will no longer be accidental, as it requires a definitive tap of the triangle button. Taking a hostage will now actually be a viable strategy in a firefight, as you just tap and hold R1 to put them in a CQC hold, then hold L1 to aim, and go to town...no more holding down five buttons and being forced into 1st person with no situational awareness."

Can't fucking wait for the game, god damn bastards who are spoiling the game. :\

lol lara lol
