It really perplexes me how people like you and Rustoneal think it's actually okay to treat your girlfriend like that and still have no problem attracting females, yet I do the opposite and can't do it at all.

I treat all my girls very well, I just don't think they're the end all be all, I always keep my options open, and if something better comes my way, I'm going for it. There is no point to being all clingy and dumb over one chick this early in life, sure there is a time and place to mature and settle etc... But it's not now. Also, I'm confident, know what to say, what to do, and I know what I'm doing when it comes down to it, that tends to appeal to the ladies; and they too are not the clingy emotional type. If they were I'd avoid them like a bad rash, I don't find a girl thats obsessed with me appealing, it only hampers my lifestyle.

It's about being confident and knowing what you're doing, if that comes off as an "asshole" to people afraid to look females in the eye, so be it. Trust me, in a serious long terms relationship no girl would choose someone who is so passive, unsure, inexperienced and self conscious as to think they must constantly fawn over a girl for fear of her leaving. Maybe, maybe not, such is life, I can tell you one thing though, I won't spend one iota of my effort on said person anymore.
