Nice. Never cared for that part of Texas, but Minute Maid Park is great and hopefully I can get down there and see them play the  Yanks next month.

Well, since I'm from a small town, it was pretty amazing.

But by the end of the weekend, I was ready to be back home.

I prefer San Antonio and Austin. Little less industrial.

San Antonio is a beautiful city IF you're on the right side. I went 2 years ago because my Band made it to State Marching contest (I was 1st Trombone), and we went to the Rivermall and all. It was a nice town. Again, I was ready to come home.

Do you live near Houston?

Nope.
6 hours away, to be exact. HUGE culture shock.

I really did enjoy it. I'm from a small town, so I was actually kinda shocked at the size of Houston. I knew it was big, but I didn't think it was BIG. I really loved the culture there. Lots of it, actually. We were in the bus and I saw a Symphony Orchestra concert going on one side of the street and the next was some Hindu Wedding. It was pretty cool. Since it was a school function, I really couldn't explore it all, but it would be fun to do with some friends during summer break.

And if you wanna talk about boring, come to my town.

Yeah, I love the culture here too, it's very diverse.
Judging by the pictures and the fact that you were at Minute Maid Park, you were at downtown, which is like 45 minutes from where I live.
If you ever come back, go to the Schlitterbahn in Galveston, and Kemah Boardwalk.
What's the name of your small town?

I did go to Schlitterbahn in Galveston. That was Sunday's activity. :3

And I live in Dublin. Ever heard of Dublin Dr. Pepper?

Not really.. Dublin sounds familiar.
Awesome, I've yet to go there myself.
Galveston beaches are nasty aren't they?
