Try making a capital A with your left hand and keeping your fingers in the correct position.

I do sometimes when im typing with 1 hand to make ?.

Socks

I almost never use the left Shift key, I just use the right one for everything.

Feynman

I never use the left shift key, unless it's accompanied by the left CTRL so I can select the whole word using the keyboard.

Otherwise, it's always the right.

Blaze-Senpai

I use it for Shift+Insert, otherwise I don't pay attention as to which I use.

I guess I use the left more.

I use the left shift key when I need to capitalize something on the right.  I use the right when I need to capitalize on the left.
That's how I was taught when I took my typing classes.

Of course, now I use nothing but the right shift key.

I do, I've been using it since I had my keyboarding class Freshman year of highschool.
