I hate it when people say shit like this, you don't know every black person in the fucking world, nor do you know every fucking one well.

Because "the greater part" means everyone of course.

Like MIB said, the gangster/hood/whatever they're calling it these days people are all that get on my nerves.
If they could get over themselves and stop acting like utter retards 96 percent of the time then I'd be fine with them.

Well, if he meant just the people who fit the typical black stereotype, then I agree.

rofl i got beard and read instruction manuals

Gradually, all Windows computers will be Vista computers, and thatââ,¬â,,¢s a good thing, if only for security reasons. But you may want to keep your older Windows XP box around awhile longer, until you can afford new hardware that can handle Vista.

It's fact, religion, as presented by it's leaders cannot hold up to scrutiny, it's not fact, it's fiction. Once they can acknowledge this fact then we may see some positive progress in humanity.

Tell those who have used such "mascots" to oppress, kill and indoctrinate.
Yes, because they obviously won't find some other excuse to start wars and kill people.

What? You just said the mascot of religion is christianity... Now where are these other mascots coming from?

Killing people for survival, territory, resources etc... is not ideal, but at least more justifiable then killing people for imaginary figures, hell anything makes more sense than that.

Christianity is the face of religion for most, this is changing now but it used to be. In any case, I was referring to Christian as well as other religious icons and symbols used in such a manner.

Religion is used as a front for those in power to gain territories and resources. It's not the message of the religion, it's just corrupt people being in power and stupid ass people being willing to follow them. The same applies to political ideologies and nationalism, which are generally well-intended in nature, but are exploited by despicable people.

So you agree that religion is man made and not literal, hence God not real? Otherwise what you're saying is only half the problem.

Religion is influenced by man, yes, I'd agree. I think there's an intial truth that has eventually been warped by human kind's own desires which conflicted with the message of that truth.

What do you think the other half of the problem is?

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

The extent people will go to prove that they are right.
The intolerance of people's different beliefs
the automatic assumption that Conservatism = bad.
Bad haircuts
Jesus Freaks
China's hold on Tibet
burning pancakes
Bad Remixes of Good songs
poop on your new underpants

What initial truth is that? Religion is nothing but early mans attempt to explain the unknown natural world with fantastic tales. It also serves as early mans way of influencing human morality via metaphorical literature which should never be taken literally. Religion now should not really be used for either purpose, much less anything more, it is outdated and unnecessary, to think otherwise is to be intentionally ignorant which could lead to a dangerous and unhelpful situation for humanity. There is no reason to believe there is a God, for me, so anything else is fiction.

The other problem being that no matter how negatively you think religion is being used and for what evil means. It is inherently wrong, flawed and false, and any use of it for moral, scientific educational and social influential purposes is not constructive. It should be relegated a thing of curiosity literary fictional masterpiece, much like Shakespearian plays.
