Snorkel

I bought a new (vintage) tenor sax awhile ago, and haven't sold my old one yet, so I've been nearly broke for awhile. I just sold the old one for a very fine $750, which is right around what I wanted to get for it.

Tell your amazing stories of selling things and finding the Lord.

Houdini

What are the details on the new tenor?

Paul

I bought a $300 hood jacket and sold it for $400

Cookie

I bought a Sega Saturn for $3, played it for 6 months, then sold it for $150.  :|

1926 (I think) Martin Committee, brass with gold lacquer (heavily worn) and nickel plated keys. The engraving is like this (except this photo makes the sax look silver)

This person is in Hawaii. Now shipping is going to be a shitload and I'll make less than $750. :(
