We have a spoiler tag, should we have one for citing stuff?

When we need to cite something we can include it as a citation.

Lawlz is a pedophile. [1]

As you can see, I was able to cite it.  Unfortunately manually doing this takes quite a while.   An automated tag would simplify this very much.    It would help out in some discussion where "proof" may be needed.

What would happen if you were to click it? I could probably make it but when clicked it would just make:

Code Select
[sup][[url][/url]][/sup]

y;

The artist formally known

For the Wiki? We already have that feature.

Code Select
[url][/url]

No, for the forums.  It looks better than a single link.

What's this? [http://forum.boyah.net/index.php?topic=2583.0]
How do I do it?  gonk;

Okay, in the first [url] tag, you type [url=URL HERE]. The second one is just [/url]. The stuff inside the [sup] tags is what the text is gonna be.

Use it the same way you use the url tags.

Code Select
[cite=URL]NUMBER/TEXT[/cite]

You have to put a '=' after [cite and then place the URL there, you don't put the URL in the middle. You place the number in the middle. For example:

Lawlz sucks. [cite=http://google.com]1[/cite]
